Attempts icons
From Qedoc
Attempts icons are playful icons which display in the information bar just above every task. They only display if at least two attempts are permitted. As the attempts are used up, the attempts icons change to visualise this.
Learners much enjoy the attempts icons and much attention is paid to them. For this reason, the choice of attempts icons is large and learners can choose and change the icons. A quiz author can use the Qedoc Quiz Maker to select the default attempt icon for each quiz level, but the default can be changed by any learner.

How to choose attempts icons
In the Quiz Player
Go to the options menu and select the option for changing attempts icons.
In the Quiz Maker
- You must be in advanced mode.
- Go to the editor panel for defining a level; i.e. attempts icons are not defined as a question property, but as a level (or quiz) property.
- The attempts icons are configured by launching a button for this purpose in the advanced options section of the level definition editor.
Copyright status
The attempts icons, as all the icons in the Qedoc software, are used under licence from a 3rd party. This means you cannot copy them and use them in your own applications. However you can go and buy your own licence to use them from the original creators.
