In a nutshell, a pilot should have a good idea of the international regulations, signs, codes, ... that are used in airports all over the world. This is necessary to create a safe and reliable airspace

- Een vliegtuig staat op het taxiweg, en een ander vliegtuig op de landingsbaan. Het vliegtuig op de taxiweg staat op een wettelijke afstand van de landingsbaan verwijdert. De controletoren geeft een reeks rode schitterlichten. Voor welke van de twee vliegtuigen is het sein bestemd en wat is de betekenins?
- Kan een pilootgezagvoerder verantwoordelijk worden gesteld voor een inbreuk op de luchtvaartwetgeving, wanneer hij/zij op het ogenblik van de feiten het besturen had overgelaten aan een ander piloot?
- Een piloot heeft net genoeg brandstof getankt om zijn bestemming te bereiken. Onderweg wordt hij opgehouden door slecht weer dat niet voorspeld was. Kan men de piloot nalatigheid verwijten?
- Mag een gecontroleerde VFR-vlucht doorgaan, indien aan de voorschriften betreffende vliegplannen voldaan is, doch wanneer er nog geen ATC-toelating (clearance) verstrekt werd?
- Men nadert een niet gecontroleerd vliegveld en men heeft geen radiocontact. In welke richting zal zal men landen, en in welke zin wordt het vliegcircuit gevlogen?
- Een motor- en een zweefvliegtuig naderen samen om te landen. Het motorvliegtuig vliegt lager dan het zweefvliegtuig, wie heeft voorang?
- Wat betekent het wanneer de seingever met linkerhand schuin naar beneden wijst en zijn rechterhand, boven en naar achter bewegend?
- Een jachtvliegtuig komt naast u vliegen en schommelt met zijn vleugels. Wat moet u doen, en hoe toont u dat u het begrepen hebt.
- Zoek in de AIP betreffende het vliegveld van Charleroi de hoogte van het platform in de omgeving van de controletoren (TWR).
- Geef (aan de hand van de AIP betreffende het vliegveld van Charleroi) de positie van de hoogtemetercontrole (at aprons).

How to use this module
To use a Qedoc learning module, the following procedure is recommended:
- Really easy: click the click here to launch hyperlink at the top right of the page. Then just wait and click your way (if necessary) through any dialogue screens. The module will launch straight off the web.
- Fairly easy: if you wish to have the module downloaded to your desktop, then start the Qedoc Quiz Player (which you can download and install on your computer if you haven't done so yet) and run through the starting dialogues until it presents you with a list of modules to load. Switch to the online learning modules tab, and the Qedoc Quiz Player will download a list of currently published modules from the web. Choose your desired module (this one) from the list. A local copy will then be kept on your computer for future use.
- Not so easy: click the download link at the bottom of the "quick facts" box and the module's ZIP file will download to your desktop. To actually use this, however, you must move it to the /player/modplay subdirectory of whichever directory the Qedoc software is installed in (usually /programme files/qedoc).
