Qedoc is formed as a voluntary association of individuals who wish to share their knowledge and teaching abilities with others. The concept of a broad and voluntary global association of this kind prohibits formal, hierarchical or strict content review procedures by qualified experts. Qedoc largely relies on the responsibility of each of the many individuals who have helped to build it.
- The Qedoc.org site itself is a wiki which can be edited by anyone at any time. Information may be inserted into the product documentation or into the learning library or other parts of this site which is misleading.
- The educational modules available from this site are under the responsibility of their respective authors, who in turn are not employees of Qedoc nor receive any payment for their contributions. These are people who have donated their time, efforts and knowledge (such as it is) in the hope of making the world of education a little better. They will have their shortcomings. Although contributions pass through a review process, this process does little more than weed out duplicate submissions and obvious nonsense. Contributions are not subjected to the same kind of expert review which one would expect of an academic publisher.
The use of this site is not to be construed as constituting or implying a contract between the you and us. In particular, there is no contractually binding agreement for the provision of educational services. Educational materials on this site are provided to you cost-free, under a limited licence, without any obligation on your part to pay for them, and without any corresponding contractual obligations on our part. You may also place fresh materals here subject to the various terms and conditions, such as the Creative Commons licences and the guidelines on appropriate content.
Qedoc contains learning resources on many medical topics; however there is absolutely no assurance that any statement contained or cited in a medical resource is true, correct, precise, or up-to-date. No checks are performed on the qualifications of those who write these learning resources. In many cases, resources are probably prepared by students or non-doctors (e.g. nurses, ambulance staff), and may have been hastily written as part of their own personal exam preparation. Resources may often have been prepared for use in countries quite different to your own, where different practices and terminology might prevail.
Even if any of the information on medical matters could be construed as reliable, it is nevertheless training material, not advice. You cannot therefore rely on the information, even if accurate, to perform a diagnosis or justify a course of treatment in a specific case or a series of specific cases.
If you are looking for advice on medical matters, please consult a qualified medical practitioner.

Resources may often have been prepared for use in jurisdictions quite different to your own, where different practices and terminology might prevail. Since the time of preparation, laws may have changed.
